Ryan Lane is a Deaf actor born in Fullerton, California and a third generation Native Californian. He began his acting career after being cast as the lead in a documentary about Deaf baseball legend William “Dummy” Hoy while finishing his senior year at the California School for the Deaf, Riverside. Ryan later appeared in television series including Cold Case, House, and Miami Medical, and is best known for his role as Travis Barnes on Switched at Birth. He has also performed in theater and independent films, including the 2025 festival short Into the Wind.
